Untitled #3

Night sky

By DAVID SPERO

Descending, You undressed me in the night.

You took my Body and held It against Yours, coaxing me into the silence that I know You love.

I looked up and saw the stars watching, unmindful, the way they watch everything, and thought:

they shall tell the world of Us,

but knew: if they saw they must be speechless.
